You want to get an amp that matches the powerhandling of your woofers with the same amount of clean rms power. I suggest a four channel amp with built in crossover. Some 4 channel amps are available with different power level for the front channels and rear channels, in this case make sure that the channels you are using on the subs match the power handling of the subs. Of course the other channels should be used on the speakers in the doors. I don't even use the rear factory speakers. I never did. For some reason the system always sounded better when I faded it all the way to the front so that those rear speakers didn't play. Try it, you'll see.

Don't go cheap on the amp. It is vital that you have good clean power.

Any 100x4 amp will work well if you want to power a set of fronts also. If not, just pick up a ~500w RMS @ 4ohm mono amp.

Orion XTR 800.4
Arc CXL4150

Just depends on how much $ you want to spend really.

What impedance are your subs? If they are 4-Ohms wire them in parallel and get a single channel amp that's 2-ohm stable. I had a pair of MTX 6000 series 10" (4-ohms) and a MTX 6500D amp (~650 watts bridged) and it was loud. I did not run the sire through the fire wall. There is a gromet in the door sills on both the passenger and driver's side. Just snap off the plastic sill cover and you'll see the gromet.

The stock thunderforms present 1 4ohm load if I remember correctly. If you keep the stock subs, don't go over 400x1 for your amp. If you go with something bigger, turn down the line level or risk blowing the MTX subs.
