Hallsville Fall Classic / December 7

The first annual TALON Fall Classic drag meet will be on December 7 at the Hallsville raceway in Hallsville, TX. Gates open at 11AM. Test and tune will be followed by a "Lightnings Only" bracket racing event along with the regularly scheduled racing program. Test and tune is $15 with an additional $10 to participate in the bracket race. Trophies for 1st-4th place with additional trophies for Low ET and Best Reaction Time (must be run during the racing program). Gates will close at 7PM.

Placed an order for $170 worth of trophies today. This means we need no less than 17 entries to break even. I don't think that will be a problem, but just wanted to start a sign-in thread to get a better feel for the number we are talking about.

I think the race program starts at about 4PM, but I'll have to find out for sure.

To anyone that has just seen this thread, you better bring your butt this weekend. All 5 L's that showed up this last weekend to Hallsville for T&T had new PB's. One L shaved another .2 off his PB from last weekend at Houston Raceway and one L owner shaved .7 off his last 1/4 run from FFW Ennis with no changes at all. I don't know what his deal was but it happened.

Uhh the traction at Ennis SUCKS

I ran there 2 months ago the temp was in high 80's ( 20 degrees higher than Sat ) and ran a 13.4.... Same MODS...

20 degrees cooler did not save me 1.2 seconds.. Ennis just has no traction -

Glad you could make it Brooks. I thought we were a better looking group than this.

More pics here.

clonetek,

Have you figured out where you can get that State of Texas replaced with something from Lousianna?

I would also like to know why you didn't bring some of those girls from your sig. pic. with you...LOL.

Congrats on your trophy. You represented silver and Louisianna very well. Your fellow statesmen should be proud of you.

i couldn't bring all the girls, because i had to have room for my slicks in the back. plus they would have fought like cats after a little while.. EEK!

next time i'll make my f-body friends pit with us... did you see the black Z28 trap 122 in the quarter mile??? wow.
