Jensen amps pump out just as much distortion as any class a/b amp. Where they get you is in 'max' ratings which are nonsense. They are usually fairly close with their RMS ratings. THD+N figures are in % already.

I do believe that your problem is most likely underpowering. If you say you have a 150w Jensen and that indeed is RMS (continuous) power output then you are well short of the 500 watts RMS they can take.

Anyone know the depth available to the subwoofer on these suckers? MTX gave me 5" but I see you guys throwing subwoofers that are much deaper than that. Anyone...bueller.....

Where do you run the power cord off the battery to the amp. (where through the firewall?????) Let me know I'm intalling two tens!!!!!!!

I think you are right.I cannot see hoe 2 ten inch subs like the thnderform box should sound this crappy.Ill get a monster amp and get back to you....
