Mine are the hange below version. The silver paint I did. Disassembled them and shot them the same color as the truck. Also while they were apart I removed the PIAA wiring and used the factory Ford pigtail. I removed the pigtail from the factory fogs and used them on the new lights. That way no changes had to be made to the wiring harness on the truck. Still use the factory switch.

thanks,

i have the p-1000's on now and one of the lenses cracked, so for a little more i can have a light that fits alittle better, i didnt take the piaas apart for the wireing but cut the ford pigtail off and spliced the black ford wire to the piaa white and ford black-white to the piaa black, so then, to the truck wireing harness is stock.

thanks for the info, being in the line of fire for road debree does the paint on the fogs seen to hold up well, would u paint them again, or leave black?

They have held up very well. I would paint them again for sure. I am also adding some PIAA 510's to the outside corners of the lower grill. 959's for foggy crappy weather & 510's long range driving light.
