What is this metal object next to the pen? I was checking 1 of the plugs, I pulled the coil pack off and found this on the intake next to the plug hole. Tried to pick it up but dropped it down the hole, It landed on the plug. A real PIA to get it back again.
Is it from the coil pack? or something that should not have been there at all. Truck was in for a new intercooler a while ago.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

That would be one of the dowels that locates the blower to the manifold. Most likely fell off the blower when it was removed for the recall and the tech just said screw it.

Thanks Sal I feel better now, Took me 15 mins to fish it out of the plug hole.
