wow ok, Bassani seems to have a pretty big following...heres the question for you guys...
Have you Compared the silver bullet with the bassani side by side, in terms of sound, build quality etc.??
I dont want to offend either side, im just going to be spending some money here and i really want to know!
TIM- what does your bassani system that you are offering come with? Very nice price, btw. Sweet lookin truck as well!

Thanks Guys!!

Hey motoxracer21 - If you want to hear the Bassanni system before you buy anything, I can maybe meet up with you so you can hear my truck. I have the catback (no headers). I live in RWC, so it should be pretty easy to work something out. Let me know.

motoxracer21,

The kit complete with everything you need. Stainless X - pipe, Twin stainless mufflers, side exit polished stainless signature tips, and all the stainless hardware to hang and install the system. It's first class and the sound is very unique. I love mine and that's why I sell them.

Thanks,

Tim

I got it from JL for 600-something dollars if I remember right. His site now has it for $730, so it looks like his prices have gone up since I bought mine earlier this year. It is an awesome system, just don't use the clamps that come with it. The stock one's are much better.

How long did it take you guys to install it?

TIM- Whats the shipping charge for your bassani system? Also, do you have them in stock, and how long would you expect it to reach me?

Thanks for all your help guys, really appreciate it.

It takes about an hour to install one, two if you're slow like me! 3 to 4 days to California. I have them in stock. All the details are on my web site. We are not supposed to discuss pricing on the boards, email me and I'll tell you about the shipping but it's minimal.

I had it on in 45 minutes working in the rain with 1 other person handing me tools. It was one of the easiest exhaust installs I've done.

Bruce,

You are just in denial, you know you crave a Silver Bullet.

Moto,

Each Silver Bullet that comes out of JDM is hand built and prepared on a Lighting truck just like yours. Since I see trucks come in and out every single day my opinion is is Silver Bullet all the way. We have had countless people take their Bassani system out to replace it with one of ours for various reasons. Here are some customer opinions on the Silver Bullet.

Here are some pics of the actual system....

I can even go a step further if you want to call the shop I can let you hear both the Bassani system and SIlver BUllet system and you can decide first hand before buying. Right now there is a 1 week wait on the Silver Bullet. You won't be disappointed wiht the system. It's a complete bolt on kit that comes iwht the hangers already welded on for you and you get all the necessary harware. It only requires simple hand tools. Don't forget the price different $525 vs the $600+ Bassani.

Thanks,

Justin@JDM

I love your system justin, it has great sound, looks great, and im sure performs quite well.
However, the issue for me is that will those straight through performance mufflers be legal in California? I really cant get pulled over and handed a ticket for my exhaust system. Trust me, if i didnt live in Cali i'd be looking for the meanest, best sounding system you can buy. But the thing is i DO live in CA, and I need some sort of proof or evidence that the silver bullet system is completely legal here.
Thanks for chiming in on the topic, I appreciate everyone's opinions!
