What should first mods be ?

For $1,000 I would do;

1. Air box Mods with K&N
2. Factory Tech Valve body
3. Traction bars, Rancho type (everybody has them)
4. If you got money left get some Nittos

Then go to the drags and have a great time!!!

If you take the air intake out of the picture and just do an air box mod,YOU MUST GET A Factory tech VALVE BODY!!!!!!. Specially where you can program your chip for it the first time.Maybe you should wait on the intake and do the chip/valvebody,pully seeing you can save your tranny at the same time from the damage a chip could do.... Please take my advise or spend an extra $200 on a valve body

What Lightningquick said!!!

I would do the valvebody first also. Your tranny will last longer, due to the shorter shift times.
