That is definitely cool... so I'd say it's "Shiny"

I only say "Bling Bling" when I'm making fun of something... it kind of has a negative meaning to me... meaning kind of tacky

As soon as I can see again, after being blinded by the intense glare, I say it is really shiny!

Rob, is that the abradable coating that they are using now for tighter clearances? It would be nice to see if that setup will produce more boost that the standard Lightning blower.

Struck in AZ,

I have another package from Mr.BABolt full of aluminum goodness but I have to assamble the parts and polish the parts. I've been working on the stuff this afternoon and it's coming along nicely

This is only the top half of the motor. Wait 'till you see the rest

Mr. Lincoln,

The testing will commence this spring. I'm curious to see if these rotors produce less heat than the standard "flaky" rotors.

Interesting. I'd like to know also.

But for now I'll cast my vote for "you sir, suck" followed by a "Shiney - BLING-BLING".

I think the theory behind that coating is that they can run very tight clearances. When there is interference, the graphite just burnishes away. It should leave smooth, tight fitting parts. (Hmmm, I wonder if that's PC).
