are those stock chromed tips?

I know those aren't Babolt because he never returns any e-mails off his site...............

Thanks for the mostly positive coments

The tips are stock chromed. I had this done at a local chrome shop. Cost was 100 dollars. Not a bad price i think. Be sure if you have this done to tell the shop to chrome them using the method they chrome stainless steel with.

I am trying to figure out which to get...this or the polished s/c -

Very nice...like others said..please get pics once you get some of those tips on the truck!

Those look hella sweet,

I tried to have mine done and no one would touch um(sept 1), aparently chrome wont adhere to stainless, and you have to basically prime the part, the coat it with something then chrome it. I found one place to do it, but they would not guarantee the coating.

VERY VERY nice though!!!! (and well worth the 100$ even though no performance was gained <grin>

i thought you were getting a 03 HD. They come with chrome tips stock, so why would you get these? Go for the polished s/c

those tips do look awsome though for on a Lightning
