When will someone manufacture a really nice complete intake kit?

Ken,
How is a black alumium box going to give instant cold air? I would think at the rate aluminum transfers heat it wouldn't take long to pre-heat that incoming air. True ram air is very difficult to tune with o a N/A motor. True ram air on a S/C motor is next to impossible. Myself I would rather draw in as much air as possible. Limiting the air intake to only the hole in the fender looks to be a negative to me. The path the air travels to finally reach the throttle body is also going to create heat. Then you have the filter to MAF transition, MAF to rubber boot transition, Bott to T/B transition. Everyone of the transitions creates turbulance which raises the air temp. What needs to be measured is the air temp right at the exit of the T/B. That will give you and accurate reading o which intake system gives you the cool air. The stock IAC#1 is too far up stream. A lot happens between that location and the back of the T/B.
