Talking Back from Colorado!

So I went snowboarding in colorado this weekend at breckenridge. It was a blast and I've never been there so it was a totally new experience with the altitude. With breckenridge at about 9600 feet above the air was so thin that we got winded just walking around a little. We got drunk off 3 to 4 beers which made the trip cheaper, HEHEHEHEHEHE.

These are some pics of the mountains, AWESOME!!!!

RTKILLA, The altitude here really kicks your butt if you're not used to it. I took my nephews from Wisconsin snow boarding at Eldora that same weekend and they were asleep by 7:00PM. Too young to drink, but gassed all the same.

You're no lightweigt, just oxygen challenged at those altitudes! Glad you had a great time.

You went to the oxygen bar ... wuss ...

Serisouly though, skiing and snowboarding out in Colorado is just amazing. I learned to ski out there. Came back to NJ and went to one of the mountains up near Ithaca NY, just lacked compared to Colorado.

Can't wait to get back out there!

Bill honestly there was no snow bunnies up there at all. Everything I saw was like a 5 at best. The fact that I'm used to a 10 doesn't help at all, but I still have pretty good judgement on woman and there was nothing speacial. Besides 5 of the 7 of us have woman back home and we didn't care anyway. The other 2 guys where pissed but thats to bad, HAHAHAHAHHA.

The air totally kills you up there and its nothing like I've ever experienced. We all live in chicago where its practiclly sea level, then you go up to brekenridge and DAMN!! Denver wasn't to bad at the airport but you could still notice it.

What is the altitude at Beckenridge?

I was at Winter Park and I think it was over 10k, with the highest part of the mountain at 12k. Can't remember that well. The air did suck, but I got used to it pretty quick.

The hotel is like 9600. but the summits where up there about 13,800 max was the highest point we got up too. It was harsh!

I grew up in Gould which is 9200 ft. Funny thing is when you grow up there and come down to someplace at sealevel you never notice that there is more oxygen......anyway, you should have told us you were coming and I could have brought my L up so you wouldn't go through withdrawls.

It's who you know. You can never beat that formula. Things are much easier to come by. Unfortunately I know nobody.
