It really wasn't that bad for the trip. $923.00 for my share which included a hotel, free transportation where ever we went. air fair, transportation to hotel from the aiport and back (2 hour ride).

So we got there friday morning and I got home monday late late night due to the winter storm, but it was worth it.

So just curious with all this thin air talk......do people jog/run in Colorado?? I am serious because I run everyday and think it would suck to be wheezing after 1/10mi because of the lack of O2.

Yes, that's why the Olympic Training Center is in Colorado Springs.

<---from Colorado Springs. My family has a time share in Beaver Creek. Snowboarding is the pinnacle of downhill fun.

we asked the people there and they said it takes about 6 months to really get used to the lack of air, but when you do your on top of the people at sea level by far.

this one bar tender has family back in NYC and when he goes home once and awhile he just drinks them under the table likes and its like 3 times the amount he drinks back in breckenridge.

we stayed at the beaver run resort if you guys know where that it. Pretty nice place if you ask me.

Looks like you had a great time.

It reminds me of when I was younger. I spent a whole winter in Colorado, it was awesome. I was a competitive cross country skier when I was in my teens and early 20's and trained at the olympic traing center.

I did quite a bit of downhill skiing that winter, which I had not done before, after that winter I turned allmost full time to downhill skiing. The rush of speed was all it took. However Steamboat springs in March on X country skies is one of the most awesome things I have ever done. Bring shorts or go naked in the hot springs, LOL
