If the Cobra had a automatic.......
I just went to the dealer to look at the sonic blue (hated it) and the dark grey (it's ok, red is still the fastest looking color) since I'm ordering a new 03 L tomorrow. They have a 03 Cobra and it is SWEEEET. I just don't think I want to do all that shifting, no way to haul anything, etc.
By the way, the salesman was very smart. He said the Cobra was TWICE as fast as a Lightning. He said if both were stock the L would only be at half track when the Cobra crossed the finish line. Oh, he also said THIS (03 )Cobra would be worth $50,000.00 twenty years from now. I told him "not if I buy it, I put 25,000 miles a year on my car". He said that would not make any difference. He said the only car in the world faster than a Cobra is the Cobra R. I sure am glad I went by there.....I learned alot! F'ing dumba$$!

LOL!! Salesman are such dumb@$$'s!!! I had to drop of my dads truck at the dodge dealer today and my girlfriend followed me in the lightning... LOL she said she got swarmed by salesman telling her they had a truck that would take the lightning blah blah blah!!!! She said why would I want another dodge... The one we own breaks every other day!!! LOL the salesman just walked away!!! he was kinda pissed

I don't think the 4R70W would like that too much(atleast if Ford built it). They sure as hell aren't gonna put a 4R100 behind it. Oh well a stick is nice but I don't think I would want one for everyday. I can also throw my quad in the back of my Lightning, tow my jetski with it and tow my Buick with it.

The automatic is NOT in yet it is being built as we speak...to get an AOD to handle the kind of power we are gonna make with this thing is MAJOR $$$$$$$$$ ( about twice the price of Gregs monsterbox!!!)
We could of went with a c4 but I really wanted overdrive so it would still be streetable
We just finished the swap from the IRS to an 8.8 rearend with a set of 4.10's. This thing is an animal now with the gear change, it had 3.55's.
In 1st & 2nd a light roll on BLOWS the tires away, in 3rd a medium roll on does the same
And I dont have the nitrous hooked up yet
