Pics of SS Bars and Powdercoated Brackets

Finally got around to installing the stainless steel traction bars from JJ along with the bracket kit from Mark at LFP...

Front bracket

Silver Bullet exhaust clearance from the front (I know...the tips need to be cleaned)

And a few more...

Rear bracket and Belltech 6-degree shim

Traction bars viewed from the rear

I'm happy with both of these, but man do I have to watch out for speed bumps and sloped driveways...

And coming from you Don I'll take that as a compliment...hoping to get into yours, HD's, Vinnie's and Rob's league at some point in time...just looking for some table scraps from you guys.

I like how you powdercoated the brackets.Good idea.

One question. How did you get the truck on the ramps like that?

You guessed it...jacked the back and then the front on both sides. Flipped the ramps so I would have as much room between the tires as possible. Also had to borrow one set of ramps from a friend but I wanted my truck to be at 'normal' ride height when I installed the traction bars and the front brackets.

I just so happen to have a used set of these for sale if anyone is interested,,,, had them on for about 4 months, still in great shape,, I'll be selling the brackets that go with them as well and all included harware neccesary. Reason I'm selling is my poos truck blew an engine,,,,, looking for soome extra cash to help beaf up my jeep, plus i'll be moving sooon so its a threefold reason to sell them, I'm in no hurry to get rid of them, but if you are in the market, I beleive i'm the first L owner to want to sell his SS polished tractions bars and brackets, and I'd save you some money over JJsvt's prices,,,, sorry to make a sale pitch here, the truck being down like she is right now is absolutely killing me. I can take pics if you need, please only make reasonable offers, and email them to whitetoast11@comcast.net

I like the Dunlops a lot. I am surprised how good they are wearing. They hook O.K. but with my mods I don't expect much traction from any 20s. You will be surprisingly happy with the ride.
