Unhappy problem?!

today i was at work and they sent me to go pick up some tires from another store, well i was kinda in a hurry cuz it was time to go home and i needed to get some stuff done, so needless to say i was hauling some a$$, i wasnt ragging on it just in a hurry. well anyways i stopped at a stop light and sat for a sec and all of a sudden my L started to (what felt like) miss bad and the rpms dipped just below 500 for a sec then it stopped. it hasnt done it again, i looked under the hood just a quick visual inspection when i got back to work. needless to say it scared the crap out of me, this truck is my baby and i dont want anything to happen to her. i dont know if it was a miss or maybe it just stuttered for a sec, the truck is all stock accept a psp filter and some high flow cats. im thinking the iac maybe got stuck? its got almost 12k on the odo. someone please help?!

That sounds like a dirty IAC to me. It's easy to take off. Soak a solvent(Sea Foam Carbon Cleaner is one of the better ones--NAPA stores may have it.) in the interior for a minute or two. Sammy posted that he could move the valve off its seat with a screw driver but I was afraid I'd mess it up so I just let mine soak.
