Scary that a construction dude does this on the side.

Kind of reminds me of the first WaterCooling kits for CPU;s back in 1999 were garage variants.

To each their own, good luck with your venture construction dude.

Thumbs down

What does that have to do with anything? Didn't JDM run a sidewalk chicken stand before selling L parts?

Re: LFP Stage 1 accumulator valve body

To all concerned,

Our valve bodies are in no way a copy. LFP and FT both start with a Ford valve body. We reached our goal for optimum performance without ever having a FT valve body present.
Mark, that can't be true. Kyle at HOS had both, adn offered a customer a choice of which one he wanted. I knew you were making a different part several months ago, and I didn't have a problem with that, it was only the Marketing on BOP that I had a problem with, I didn't even look at your site, so if you say it was differrent I guess it was, the one I saw was on BOP and it confused me for a minute, it listed the "Ford Tech Factory Accumulator" and I thought that was too close to my name, I talked to Mark about that and he changed it, no problem. I don't have a problem with you selling another part, either, like I said, I knew at least a month ago, it was the name and ads I was concerned about.

This post shows that you DID have a FT valve body when you devloped the Art Carr one, and that I knew all this at the time.

********************************************

The AC units are actually a small (2) pre-production run and Greg got one of those......Nick received the Factory Tech unit as per his request.

I have yet to do a VB in my truck and am thinking of using the other AC in mine. I should have some more VBs in shortly.

As an FYI, the FT unit and the AC are both based off of stock Ford VBs. Both receive virtually the same upgrades...but the AC unit does have a few subtle advantages over the FT.

In all honesty, the man to thank for the AC VBs is Mark Silvestri....he put the pieces of the puzzle together with AC because of some soap opera action between FT and another tuner that diminished availability of the FT pieces for the future.

************************************************** **
I was really just upset because people wrote to ask me if it (the BOP part, that he gets from you) was mine, it's not and I wanted to clear that up.

sounds good to me!!

All charges have been dismissed in this case. Court is adjurned. May we all go in piece.

May I say for the record that I have a FT valvebody and I love it. Gregg was great in helping me get coordinated with Jim on the tunning of my chip and it worked out great. I have also bought some stuff from Mark at LFP and he has always been straight forward with me, and took care of me when a minor problem arose.

Unfortunately there are many folks here on the board and most like to remain friends, but sometimes buisness gets in the way. I like to see things resolved professionally.

Did Jim really have a chicken stand????

I'm really not mad at anyone, I think everyone now knows there are two distinct parts.
All I was concerned about was people were asking me, and now it's pretty clear.

It's called a "Feeding Frenzy" and it happens all the time. If JDM did this-made a mistake- people would burn him to ashes. Same with the other tuners. There's people that say X tuner is wonderful, and there are those who say X tuner is kaka. I don't know Mark and have never dealt with him, but I will make my judgement of him if and when I make a purchase from him. I believe F/T to be an up and up guy. These "businessmen" need to be more careful so things like this don't happen. It couldn't have been deliberate. Mark would know the crap that would start.
So, Greg, your stuff has already established your credibility, and Mark's hasn't yet(trans parts). So just consider it another choice. I say drop it. This has already dented Mark's credibility a bit, probably unjustly, and Greg is still F/T-Factory Tech.

Weren't JL, JDM, LFP, etc all selling Line Mod kits? Called Line Mod Kits??? So what if JDM, JL, PP, etc all start selling their own acc. body?

At Gregg's request, this thread is being closed. According to a recent message he sent Doug and I, the original issue has been resolved, so there is no need to continue with this thread.
