What's up with this?

The 252 replies and 9000 views thread " Shot a rod through my oil pan...." should put to bed the belief that threads get closed here because a SV is targeted...

Posts get closed cause people get attacked.

In this case it got closed because retics4me took a cheap shot at me...

Keep in mind I DONT MAKE THE RULES HERE... I dont control the **** filter.

Doug

All the guy said was welcome to Dugs world. You need to put on a little thicker skin their dude. It wasn't defamatory. Myself, and others, have had worse flame wars on here than that and the post continues. I understand that you're the moderator and need to control this forum and keep it respectful, but everybody should get the same respect then.

Am I missing something else here? This thread will probably get closed for questioning policy, but oh well.[

Angry Why did you close my post?????

My last post was closed...and I would like to know WHY???...Nobody was roasted by me.....and whether the "Dugs world" comment was meant for anyone, I dont know. However, NCETRY took the time to answer my post--and while blowing his motor STILL COMPLIMENTED HIS TUNER!!!!...This is the kind of information I was looking for....someone with expierence here who can just simply give the facts on an incident that happened to him......Not to bash any tuners......

C'mon, relax a little....Ive seen plenty of bashing going on in here...whether it be SVT owners, Camaro owners, SYTY owners or the ever dreaded R/T owner ......Just come on this site to start trouble and play little kid games. All I wanted to know was simple facts from the expierences of other Lightning owners!

PS---NCETRY....Thanks for the info...I appreciate it

I agree. I also made a post after that questioning why. It's titled "what's up with this". I like a clean forum as well as the next guy, but censorship needs to be more reasonable.

Doug,

I can understand that there can sometimes be more to a story than what is showing, but why close the whole thread? Can't you just delete the post that was supposedly offensive? HEVYRESQ had his thread closed through no fault of his own. I noticed you were able to take my post and insert it into this one, so it seems you have the ability to do pretty much anything to a post. It just seems more reasonable to punish the individual who supposedly violated the TOS rather than everybody involved in the thread.

Myself, like Fast Gator, would be interested in what the problem was. I saw nothing wrong with the post that closed the thread.

retics4me,

Why don't you quit with your childish antics. You already ruined one post, are you going for two?

Thanks Chikenears.

I might try that. By the way, I've enjoyed your bunny rabbit. It's nice to see a little humor on this forum.

"Sticks and stone may break our bone but names will never hurt us" This is a motto we should keep in mind, I think this kind of rivalry is unnessary.
