I hope your correct LROD i will order a neww one and see what happens ,
if the cylinder is not firing when i pull the wire on that coil pack and that is the only one thats not firing ,what else would cause it not to get fire?
, i pulled the chip out and let run shake idle, without the chip ,= smae with or without no fire to that cylinder?

also still getting that ticking sound under the truck around that cylinder area.=tick tick tick

If you damaged plugs there is a chance that you could have damaged something in the cylinder. If you change out plugs and coils and still have a miss or stumble I would do an engine compression check. That will tell you if all is well in the combustion chambers.. Good luck...

no check lights

why no check engine light with only 7 cylinders? also if a piece of burnt electrode hung in exhaust valve ,would that cause the cylinder to act like it's not firing?

Not sure why no check engine light. An autotap should be able to tell though. Sometimes it takes awhile for a misfire to show up on a check engine light. If any valves are damaged or something is not right in the combustion chamber your plug should still fire but that cylinder will make no power i.e low compression..So therefor you have a miss or stumble..

I don't want to bethe bearer of bad news, but #8 looks destroyed. The insulator is broken as well as the ground and center electrode. Time for a compression or leakdown test.

I don't think a new coil pack is going to fix this one. That plug was detonated as well as melted due to lean mixtures and high temps. You may have engine damage. I'd leak down the engine, an determine whether it is cylinder head or piston damage.
