Question Autometer Boost Gauge Question?

Ok well I sent my last boost gauge back cause it was reading 18lbs of boost. I connected this one and its still reading the same. The sensor is upside down like the instructions say, and I know theres nothing wrong with the gauge. Is there a way of connecting the boost hoses that I'm not aware of? Thanks!

do you have the electronic full sweep guage??

If so you may not have it wired properly, if you hook the pwer to the wrong circuit it will not work right.

Here is where you have to hook up the power

this is where I hooked up the MAP Sensor. Up under the driver kick panel, under the dash board

You can see the vacuum line in the pic too

Blah, don't stick stuff in the fuse panel..........knowing you Don I wouldn't think you would do something like that.

it is a special conection that has a slot in it, the fuse termilal slides through it. So it is not the type that stretches out the conections in the fuse panel. I hope that helps, I will go my friends shop and take a pic of it, so you will see what I meen.

I know the type of conector you are thinking about, and I agree they suck. When my friend told me about these new conectors I said ok lets try them.

Thanks to Don, I seen I had the white hose too long. Its working like its suppose to. I can't see full boost yet, cause I just have pumped gas right now. Going to try Xelene and the oil mixture today and see if I like it better then Toulene. Thanks Everybody!
