Thumbs up Another one in the 12's!!

There was actually two of us in the 12's tonight, but I will let the other person post for themselves! Don't want to steal their thunder!

1.82 - 60'
8.29 - 660'
84.40 mph
12.93 - 1320'
104.91 mph

On F1's (27psi) 4# pulley, chip, filter.

Not a bad night I guess. Track was decent. Air was cool (61°).

Thumbs up 12 second run...

Great job.....What is the secret to a 1.8 short time on F1's????? The best I could muster was a 2.02 leaving at 1500rpm...Any more, and the F1's just go up in smoke......

Joe congratts on the great run

mrinaldi

Launching at 1500 rpm's on stock tires is to hight. Leave from idle and roll into the throttle. Sometimes you have to go slow to go fast.

Light brake torque to 1100 rpms. Let off and ease the throttle till you feel it hook! I am just learning to drive an automatic. It is my first vehicle that is Auto. I have had 7 manual tranny cars.

Launching my old GT was easy, rev to 6000 side step the clutch, and hold on to your nuts!

Thanks for the props Don!

retics4me... is that name from your interest in reticulated pythons?

Anyway, thanks for the props! Hopefully make it to 12.5s in the next couple of weeks.
