If Cali is so great then why are so many Californians moving to AZ OR, WA, etc. and screwing up those states' property values?

I like my 1/2 acre lot and 3500 sq/ft house with a 3-car garage. Couldn't do that in most parts of California unless you are will in the 6-figure income range.

I like California, don't get me wrong. Its just that it is not Xanadu or Utopia just because you can drive your truck all year w/o encountering snow.

Again..Florida wins in both arenas. We caan drive all year long, the property here is worth quite a bit, NO FOG ***** AT ALL, nice roads for the most part, and housing is decently priced..unless you live in south beach, that requires the "rich ***** license"

Konig -

Don't get to worked up about the Sunshine State. As a Florida native do I need to remind you of some issues...

"Snowbird" invasion during the winter.
"Bluehair" drivers all over the place
Some of the worst public schools in America
Power robbing heat and humidity at least 8 months a year
Blind mosquito swarms
****roaches bigger than your foot
Instant Mold as a result of the humidity
Rust courtesy of the Atlantic salt spray
More Lightning Strikes than any other State
Hurricanes & tornadoes
Marsh fires and smoke
Anita Bryant
1st/2nd language issues
Snortn' Jeb
Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Miami Marlins
A hockey team
Can't count votes in public elections

With that said, I will move back some day .

yah yah yah...in one ear out the other ... I do hate the mosquitos with a vengence though. I use one of those propane foggers and wipe out as many as I can around my house. (its like revenge for getting bit a million times growing up here) But hey they all die in the winter anyhow

oh and the Bolts are actually doin pretty good this year. Same for the Bucs actually

If that's true, how do you squish 'em?
Sounds like stepping on a skateboard.

Gee, don't get all lathered up. Keep in mind your 3500 sq. ft. house is not worth a house a third it's size in most places, and in today's real estate market, if you sold yours and the smaller one sold here, the Calif. owner would walk away with a larger profit margin. Also keep in mind, his income in your state would buy two of your homes. It's all relative when you balance it out properly.

And six figure incomes here are a dime a dozen, which is why homes in California can't be built fast enough.

Don't know where you got the idea that Calif. were moving out and ruining other states property values. Unfortunately, we are the fastest growing state, and we are not getting the pick of the litter, so to speak..................

How about a motorhome????

you could roll around in your pimped out London Aire, In summer head up to Colorado to play in the twisty mountain roads, in fall head to where its cool in the North east for some good 1/4 times. When winter comes go to Florida, or South Padre or lake Havashue (sp?) and when spring rolls around, go where ever you would like.

The pimped out London Aire \/

mswaim-

Just havin' some fun. Trying to show there are tradeoffs. Plus, are you having second language issues?

Konig- When I was a kid in Cocoa Beach they used to dump the nasty ***** from the air and on the ground. Literally would bring tears to your eyes. Bucs are having a better year, just need a QB.
