My 01 has done this periodically since it was new. It now has 8900 miles on it. If I notice it is doing this, I slightly tap the brake pedal and then both wheels will spin.
I have never had a problem while launching as both bite. I get one hell of a big chirp out ot the Hoosiers on the 1 to 2 upshift so I know its only happening during the burnout. Go figure.

Marc, you must have a line-lock or something... cause aren't your brakes usually engaged when doing a burnout without a line-lock?

All trucks will do it if the tires aren't wet enough, the brakes are on too hard, or your clutches are wearing. The best thing to do is blast them pretty hard when you begin your burnout.
