Who won update L or Dakota R/T

L mods,
Cold Air Intake, chip, 4 Lb pulley, traction bars, 160 deg
thermostat, Factory Tech Valve body, oil breather cap. It
runs 14 lb's boost, and just roasts the F1's that are on it. Can't get the F1's to hook.

R/T Mods,
52mm Throttle body, cold air intake, Mopar performance PCM (computer) Full open Cat back system, 150 shot of NOS, trans-go shift kit, Nitto 450's 275x45x17, and slapper bars. Claimed 387RWHP without the NOS. Inexperienced with NOS.

We ran the 1/8th today. Talked with this guy alot over the last 2 weeks. Great guy and had a blast. We were just playing at the track so it didn't really matter who ran faster. Here's a slip

R/T Lightning
+.71 Reaction +.14
2.165 --- 60 ft --- 2.020
9.574 1/8 ET 8.403
72.68 1/8 MPH 85.39

6 runs total same basic result. his best was 9.137@79.26 above was the L's best.

Must be time for slicks. I can't imagine faster than that on F1's. So for those that do better on F1's, Kudos to you! On the 4th run, it spun on the line as usual, then it started spinning faster down the track, then it felt like I was on ice at ~60MPH, let out completely, then nailed it again. Still won by .5 sec!:

Now I'll have to beef him up for some stiffer competition.

I have a video I'll post later. Anybody know of a good place to host the video?

387rwhp w/o NOS is and his times will back me up. With his weight, he's pushing ~300rwhp (or less) to run a 9.5 1/8. That's equivalent to a mid 14-second 1/4.

Cool

HI!... That R/T is pitaful! My F-150 is still N/A and weighs in at just under 4600LBS and I run the 1/8 in 9.2 seconds at 77MPH. My 1/4 is 14.52E.T. Even with his lightweight and all his mods, he's very lucky to run a VERY high 14 second pass. lol! Since that run over a year and a half ago, I've added a 2400 stall converter, JDM/KOOKS long tubes, custom fabricated MAGNAFLOW S/S exhaust system, new programed SUPERCHIP, 80mm tb, ram air kit, and soon to have some 16x10 rims and HOOSIER slick. Going for high 13's this SPRING, when my local dragstrip opens up. I figure currently I'm making about 280RWH.P at best, so this R/T guy is smoking crack if he thinks he's making 387RWH.p withpout the NOS!

HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA.

I don't know what it is about that mopar crap, but they don't seem to want to go very fast with the above mods that got put on. HAHAHHAHA. with a 150 shot and probably another 40 to 50 HP in bolt ons he should be in the 375 to 400 mark of HP, so I guess his 387 he told you is his dyno run with the 150 shot of juice. Cause there is no way on gods green earth that truck put that much out with no power adder on a pretty much stock long block. HAHAHAHHAHA

The funny thing is at first he was real sure of his 1st Lightning kill, but it was for fun so I was all for it. I had no idea who would win, nor did I care. I just really wanted to get out 1 last time this season, and the truck guys are more fun to run than the car guys (my opinion). All I can say is... Damn these trucks rock

You give these kids books, send them to school, and they grow up and turn to the "dak side"

When will they see the light and realize they need

I assume you mean tail light. He saw plenty of that. Had to squint a little though. LOL

So where can I host the video?
