Arrow The Clunk: I need Herb Washers

Can Anybody tell me where (and how much) I can get a washer for this "clunk" problem? I posted a thread a while back about a popping noise. Everybody told me I had the clunk, and someone said they used Herb washers to fix the problem. Well after I discovered the problem I took my truck into my dealer and two trips later I still have the F*@king clunk. They've replaced the bolt, nut and washer in the lower control arm on the drivers side. Then it came back...so I took it in again. They reworked one of the drivers side cab mounts (why...I have no idea) Then SUPRISE!! it's back again. I'm getting sick and tired of this damn noise. The other day I was driving through a covered parking lot, and it clunked. I swear atleast six people around me ducked.

Please help....Thanks in advance!

SilverStreak02: I have Herbs washers (paid $35 for them) and they work well. Only problem is they rust real bad. If I was buying again I'd buy some through one of our supporting venders. Johnny Lightning has some available through his web site that are coated so they won't rust and they are only $25. If the rust gets much worst on mine I may buy a set too. You can find them here under the JLP News section listed as clunk fix washer:

Good luck, Ron

Captain-

Are those the cam bolts that Bob was talking about? If so where did you get them? How much were they?

Thanks

streak

yep, those be the ones. Gotta lotta mileage out of that image. LOL

Available at your local NAPA for approx $35 (Fords are close to $100).

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT tell them your vehicle unless you'd prefer to see Junebug give you the WHUUUUUT??? look.
