with the DI/DO Flowmaster on my truck now, you cant talk without turning the radio off. so what?? its still not loud enough!this is a muscle truck, you want peoples heads to turn when you go by/arrive/leave a place.

Jeff you are right. At 60 - 65 MPH, there is quite some noise inside the cabin. But between 70 - 75 MPH there it is not as intrusive.

 

I personally think you get a lot of cabin noise from the bassani as well.
Damn, I think that's what I like about it!!

At 60 it drones like heck, but if you kick it out of OD or come up to 70+ it sounds mello. Also, if you crack open your rear slider, it knocks down the drone. It is SO SWEET when you romp on it, or just cruising around it is well worth it. When you romp on it from about 80, the closest thing I can compare it to, is being in a big sport boat with big dual V6 or V8 outboards when you mash it and hear the six or eight two barrel carbs open up and sync out with each other and drain massive amounts of fuel creating monster horsepower! Ohh ohh ohhhhhh, I'm getting wood!

whip i would like to hear your truck if its possible...how far are you from littleton?? you could come check out our garage, got a lot of toys in there that my father and i do most of the work on ourselves...his beer is always cold too

One more thing, @ 60mph, if you drop back to 3rd, are you turning under 3k? And if so, does the drone go away?(I know that seems stupid, but my truck isn't here yet)

If I did this right, if you knock it out of OD @ 60-65, it'll put it up around 27-3000, is that right?


Bassani is out, too expensive, and I don't care for the slight rasp.
Flowmaster is out, just not to my taste.


What about 2 normal oval can Magnaflows? Or Steeda muffs?

Or Dynomax? I think the Dynomax's pop too much.

So far the JDM is the best I've heard.
