Re-Mounting 6 disk changer

What are my options??I'm installing a Thunderforms box with 2-10's behind the seat and need to move my changer.
Gonna run a MTX 5-channel amp.It's pretty big, 15.8" x 9.5".
Will they both fit under the passenger seat if I remove the jack.
Thought I saw somewhere somebody moved their changer to the glove box??What about the cable for the changer?
Thanks for any help!-Dave.

You can do a search. A number of people have relocated it under the middle bench seat with good results.

This is how I installed my Alpine changer, but I know many guys who have done the same thing with the factory changer

Don,thanks for the pic.Is it mounted to the seat frame or to the floor?I think the amp will fit under the pass. seat, but may have to lose the jack.
I guess that's what "Roadside Assistance" is for!

I mounted mine to the seat frame with some 2"X2" angled aluminum from Home Depot. I'll try to post a pic.

SpankDog,
I took my passenger seat and console out when I moved my changer inside the console. I just lifted the carpet as best I could from near the door-sill (sp?) and reached for the cable from the hole in my carpet underneath where the console sits. I guess you could pull the cable thru an existing hole or just cut a small one underneath the seat where it'd never be seen anyway.

Cool, thanks for the info. I noticed that if you remove the brackets, there is an adjustment for horizontal and vertical mounting, I switched mine to horizontal.
