Blown Plug question

Hey do stockers blow plugs out?? Also do they blow them out or loosen up to the point that they launch... Are the thread always messed up..
Don't have this problem, but thinkin about some pulleys next spring.. Just trying to figure out what size pully to go with..

Yes to all of the above. Even non-Lightning modular motors are launching plugs.

I think both undertightning and OVERtightning can cause a launched plug. OVERtighning because there are only 4-5 threads holding the plugs in an aluminum head.

When changing plugs, run them down snug/finger tight and the 1/16th of a TURN more

Everytime i go WOT in my L , i think to myself wonder if a plug is gonna blow out like a bullet!

If this ever happens to me, think i would have both heads replaced, with something better...
