SVT Ranger Lightning Bolt

Just finished watching Motor Week on T.V. and next week they will be doing a feature on an SVT Ranger Lightning Bolt.
This is the first I have heard of this.
Has anyone else heard of this new SVT model and or have any specifics about it?

thanks for the pics jw

Looks very cool but it is treading on Syclone territory. (read: tons of power but little practical functionality)

13.5 gallon fuel cell.. oh joy, owners get to to fill up every 170 miles.

JMHO

What are we looking at for price? Wonder if it's gonna be close to the real lightning.
Why buy a new little L when you can buy a full size that a year old with no tax. Buy used and get more than any little L can give.
The only thing I can see with a Mini L is Quater Mile times. Probably a lot lighter overall.

Great pics guys. I do recall seeing that at the Detroit show last year but I thought it was just a concept vehicle and am wondering if SVT has decided to make it production.

When you click on the link it says that the paint is Sonic Blue. Is that what we can expect the 03 L's to look like? In those pic's it looks a lot darker then I was expecting. I like it!

Don't care for the looks but I will love the weight. That little truck will eat us up with some work on getting it to hook up.

I can't wait to see if it comes out. I love my truck too much to trade in but it should be the king at the track. Go Ford!

Dogde is beaten before they even get their viper truck out.

Here's whatcha ya do. Ya buy the real lightning for your weekend driver and the mini Lightning for your daily driver. Sounds like a plan doesn't it?

I will kiss Coletti's a$$ personally, if that truck sees production in its pictured form there. Notice it is parked next to another "Concept" vehicle, The Super Stallion. Don't hold your breath waiting for that truck, fellas. It will never see the showroom.

Not that I want to see you kiss Coletti's or anyones @ss, that's is not my bag, BUT I sure would be interested in a mini L. To bad it won't see production.
