Thumbs up Fast Ranger!!!

I think it's a cool truck, probably has brutal acceleration if you can get it to hook, I guess we'll have to wait and see if it becomes a real prodution model, they would sell like "hotcakes", John H.

man i dig that painted S/C,

that board said that the compression was 8.7, if its a lightning drive train, shouldnt it be 8.4?

if those to get marketed, that would be sweet, but would they actually keep that 5.4 s/c? or would they downgrade it to something else from the concept (like they always seem to do...)

Cool

Sorry guys but this Ranger / Lightning made its debut at the Detroit AutoRama. Just earlier that day the bumpers were just finished being painted and they were hung right there at Cobo Hall. Ah the smell of fresh paint was lingering.

It's not production guys...it's just one of the many many toys that sits around at the Roush garage.

Neither do I. And as much as I would love to see it in the showroom, I know that my a$$-kissin days for Coletti, will never happen.

I would love to have that truck! I like the smaller trucks, but with that much power, hook up would be a problem i think.

Even my S10 reg cab with a 300hp V-8 could never hook up worth a darn, and on a wet road forget it!!!

Getting it to hook can be fixed. Give me one. I'll even buy it if they make it. Pro truck.

THE RIMS

I would like the 12.5 wide rear rims that would be sweet in chrome and keep our stock 9.5's up front but I think that is a typo also wheels look same to me unless they really have a big ofset on the inside
I do think its cool but how many of us would fit in it I'm 6,2 its tight in the Lightning

Wonder how much hacking (er, fabrication) was necessary to get that 5.4 in there? I'm a Ranger owner an a transplant from the Ranger Forums... most guys were scrounging up 5.0's for their V-8 swaps mainly b/c of the width of the 4.6's (and 5.4's) and no room to drop it in.
