New Best Time: 12.59s @ 109.72mph
World's fastest late model Crown Vic is getting faster... my friend Jeff has set a new personal best at 12.5@109 on street tires (not quite fit for his supercharged application, but he's working on getting new tires... and also borrowing some slicks, lol)

Watch out folks... the car is still a work in progress, still needs some significant tuning in the chip department and as I mentioned above, tires (for traction, damn car spins too much) hopefuly he can get to low 12's by the end of the year!!!
its a used 98 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor ex-VA State Police... those who came to our Baltimore mini-meet last summer may remember him... the car was 330hp than... its over 450hp now!

mine's a 20second car... no competition here.
in a year or two I'd like to buy a new car and do my own project, but as mechanically inclined as I am, its probably a good idea for me not to even get involved.
on a related note, Rich just picked up his 2003 Marauder from Kenny Brown last night... another 450hp Panther Platform (thats what we call Vics, Grand Monkeys, Marauders and Clown Cars because of their Ford platform name) hit the streets.... Kenny Brown Marauder S; he should be at the track somewhere in Indy as I'm writing this post... or maybe in Illinois, I forget exactly where he's testing it out but I know he's hoping for low 13's.
I'd really like to see the Sean Hyland Motorsport 5.2L conversion Marauder run... maybe that got some kick in the naturaly aspirated form.

Gotta love "life after pursuits" for retired cruisers. I beat the life out of many a Crown Vic's, Chevy Caprices and Ford 5.0's.......Most cops love their cars more than some of us. It's their home away from home, and for many in areas where they have "take home" programs, the cruiser is cleaner than their personal cars.......

I use to watch how my brother took care of his "take home" car. That Tampa Police Dept car got better care than his own car. Your right, it was his home away from home

Good stuff!
