Need help on tranny cooler install
I am installing an auxiliary cooler and filter. It looks like the fluid path goes tranny ---> built-in radiator cooler --> auxiliary cooler --> back to tranny. Most of the connections are hard pipes. It looks like I could cut the small section of hose right under the auxiliary cooler and tap in there, but I'm wondering if there is a better way.
Also, if I do have to cut that hose, what size connectors will I need to adapt the hose to the hose which came with the kit (11/32 ID)?
Finally, any words of wisdom on mounting locations from those who have been there?
Thanks,

Hey Tim, i havent installed an aux cooler yet, but some advice i could offer you may be invaluable.. Whatever route you decide to go, make sure you install a low pressure switch. Ive see quite a few motors and tranny's munched because of a rock getting kicked up and rupturing either the actual cooler or the lines, resulting in loss of fluid.
lets see if these turn out, ultimately what I did was run a trans line from the small cooler that is already there in to the new one and back to the line that came off of it, I had the fans on the i/c but I really never used them so I mounted the cooler behind the i/c and the fans come on with the rad. fans, the size of the cooler made me take the rubber air deflector that is above the i/c off and it fit pretty well, hopefully these pics will shed some light on what im trying to explain..
