Anyone tried the Scat rods yet? They have a nice looking "H" beam rod for the 5.4L. $499 retail doesn't seem too bad either. Made right in SoCal. I have used their products back in the hot rod VW day and they were top shelf.

How does the price compare to what you paid for other brands? Manley, Eagle, etc. Just can't seem to justify the $280/ea price of the Carillo rods (2000 Cobra-R).

 

just curious but what kinda rods do they use on topfuelers? i mean damn....5-7000hp?
