Anyone ever ran the goodyear 275/45-20 ? Thats probably what ill be running with my 20" lightning rims and i was just wondering if so does anyone have pictures of them on their truck?

 

I would run some 295/40/20's much better selection of tires to pick from.


everyone pretty much runs that size anyway. I know i do

 

You would or you wouldnt run 295/40/20?

 

Run the 295/40/20's , more contact patch and a little lower profile.

I also would recommend to go with the 295/40/20's, that is a good setup and that is also what Joe is running, he meant (would, not wouldn't) lol

Well the tires im set up getting now are a bit cheaper than the goodyear 295/40/20, w/ tires and rims its gonna cost around 2450 with the 45-20's, with the 40-20's its up in the 2700's if its a whole lot more better than the 45's ill pay the extra money but i wanna know for sure

 

295/40's specify 10" minimum rim width. Almost no one makes a 10" wide rim. The Lightning replica 20's are only 9" wide. 275/45 is in spec on a 9" rim.

 

I would go with the 295/40's. I am putting a set on my 20" reps.
The 295/40's are only $20 more per tire when you compare them to tire rack. Plus the 295/40's look awesome.

 

chgames with a 02 HD just put goodyear 295/40/20's on his truck. he posted pics over there. Looks awsome! the HD rims are 9" wide and he hasn't had any problems yet. tread pattern looks cool too

 

I would go with the 295/40...I have 275/45/20 on a 10 inch rim and it just does not look all that good...I will replace them with 295/40/20 as soon as I sell the 275s.
