Dyno Numbers

After installing a custom burned chip, I put my truck on the dyno and got these numbers. Is it me or is the A/F ratio extra lean and dangerous. I would reccomend that anyone who buys a chip put your L on the dyno and make sure it is safe. The chip was from a very reputable tuner. Experts, please give me your opinion on these numbers. This is a chip burned for a 4# pulley. I put the chip on first and then did the dyno pull to see what the chip alone was worth. I didnt end up installing the pulley yet since it was running so lean. Shouldnt it have run very rich since it's supposed to be programmed for a bigger pulley?

Thank You,

You are running LEAN, I would be careful. The temps drop, and you will start getting detonation, you just might not like the outcome.

Try and get your A/F fattened up a bit between the 4000-5800 range. Tip in Lean isn't a problem, but sustained Lean conditions will end the fun quickly.

Very lean! I wonder if the chip is over riding the ability to compensate for altitude? What is your elevation?

My altitude is 5300, about a mile high. My friend bought the same chip for the same pulley from the same tuner. Only diference is his is a 2002 and mine 2001. His A/F is at 11:1 12:1 from 4500 RPM to 5500. Any chance that me not having the pulley on could be making it run lean. Should it have not run rich without the pulley?

Wow, I just noticed that! 24.55??? High altitude sucks! Glad to have the low 30.00s down here.

Yeah, combine that corrected altitude, with the fact that Cecil is downhill from the 60' mark out, and no wonder people love to race there.

I was there for the ModShootout in June, that track is nice. Good prep, and great air.
