Dynoed the Lightning today

Got the lightning on the dyno today, and here are the number's:

RWHP- 396.2
RWTQ- 495.6
A/F- 11.0

Is the a/f a little rich? Or should I just leave it alone?

Where did you go to get the truck dyno'd? I'd like to find a shop in the area (STL) as well to have mine done when I get it back... Thinking of doing it in the spring when I add some more go fast goodies

Nice #'s by the way! ...SOOO close to those 400/500 "magic numbers"!

Thats real good.

Had mine on the dyno last weekend and put up 420Hp and 540ftlb. At my peak power around 5000rpm's my A/F was 13.2 and slowly dropped to 11.0 at 5700rpm's. Hope to get the Works 140 put on soon before the snow falls so I don't have to trailer my L to the shop.

The runs were on my street settings and might have seen more with a new fuel filter and plugs. If I had race gas I would have tried my race setting. Truck is running real strong with the temps in the 20's.

Good numbers and I wouldn't mess with the A/F, better safe than you know! What are your mods to get there? I just dyno'd, with simular numbers but MUCH leaner, and I'll be sending the chip back for a more conservative tune. I'd be happy with your numbers.

Personally, I would take a little fuel out of it. Some people may freak but I ran 12.6 for awhile with no problems. Used good gas and wasn't stupid with high speed runs. Made 400 rwhp with just the chip and 2# pulley and exhaust.

I've got a new program and a six pound pulley and can't wait to see what it'll do.

415cidGoose, I'd try to get the A/F up to about 11.5-11.7. That's where I shoot for with my street program chips. You'll probably pick up about 10 hp or so going up to that from 11.0. Your current A/F is richer than it needs to be. You can actually go to around the 12.3 range and still be safe, however I've found the trucks don't really make more power from 11.7 to 12.3, so I like to keep them at 11.7 for that extra buffer of fuel.
