Sorry, I am in no way putting down your father. I think that it's excellent that he learns about cars from you. My experience tells me that your father is the exception though. Just generalizing from my own personal experiences. Different people are good at different things. That doesn't make them better or worse, just different.

 

Guys i have done a lot of research and i am just going to swap the engine for a v-8.

Actually the truck is in pretty nice shape . Nice paint, running gear is good , the only problem is the "NEW" engine preacherman put in.
The 5.4 SC engine wont fit... but I can get a normally asp. 302 4bl in there ,so i am going for it. (everybody needs a beater right?)

When its all built i will put it head to head with my L in the 1/4 and clue you in.

My money is on the L !!
