What a joke. The R/T guy actually thinks he added 190 rwhp with just an intake, chip, throttle body and exhaust?

Tell him he needs to either call Guinness or check himself into the Betty Ford clinic.

Talking I use to have a Dodge.

Like it has already been said I dont think he is anywhere near 387hp off the bottle. He would be lucky to be making 280 off the bottle with those mentioned mods. However with those mods and 150 shot of NOS he is probably running mid to low 13s. If you can beat that in your lightning you ll win. But if you have a hard time leaving the line then he might squeak by you.

Umm...

I think you guys are missing the 150 shot of NOS the Dakota is running...

I still thing the L will win, but not by a huge margin.

are you sure its a 150 shot?? by the looks of his claimed rwhp, he sounds like a ricer trapped in a domestic to me....

ask him if its a 150 shot of nitrous or 150 shot of NOS stickers

Actually, look up at the top. 387 rwhp is what was claimed without nitrous. 387 is probably closer to what it would make on the bottle if I had my guess.

If the Lightning is making 14psi plus chip, cold air, and a valve body, it should spank the Dodge, assuming both get traction.

Dan, although this truck was impressive,it had a stroked 408 motor,a big shot and a blower.

The r/t owner here has a stock block,150 shot and some bolt ons and from my experience...he will run low to mid 13's.

The same goes for r/t's with a stock block and blower....low to mid 13's.

R/T dude is claiming over 500HP with the NOS on a bone stock block. No internal components have been modified. Seems real hard to believe. I know that more boost adds HP and twice the Torque. Does NOS do the same? According to R/T dude the 387 was dyno'd. at the rear wheels.

I found this data:
245 hp, 335 lb-ft. This is supposed to be the stock #'s at the crank.

Seems real fishy to me.

I know the L runs in the 12's, even with a bad launch.

Still looking for more advise on launch.

Wow all of this;
52mm Throttle body, cold air intake, Mopar performance PCM (computer) Full open Cat back system,
adds 142 hp at the wheels . 4 mods @ 35.5 rwhp per mod, huh ya that adds up!
This guys is dreaming, or he works for a magazine. The only way those mods add up to 142 RWHP is if he got YELLOW stickers from all of those companies.
Everyone knows stickers=HP
YELLOW stickers=HP+++

It's not a 142 HP gain, it must be MUCH more. It was 245 at the crank, now it's 387 at the rear wheels. Without NOS.

Dreamer, he's nothing but a dreamer, oh can you put your hands in your head oh no.
