Gear OR Electric fans?

hey im shane i have a 2000 L with NGK tr6 plugs, a pro m mass air, k&n cone filter, a diablo chip and a 4# lower pulley and im looken for some more mods. I am already having a hard time gripping off the line, so the rear end gear wont help will it? I am interested in a shift kit and electric fans.
Then in the spring when it warms up mabey go 4:10 gear with some et streets.

Hey Shane,

No a taller rear end will not help you grip better. It will be the opposite. I don't have an L but I got 4.10s and I can actually spin my tires ever once in a while now(Not possible with my 3.55s)

If you get electric fans and a shift kit, it will increase performance and decrease your traction(cuz the tires will move a little faster)

well like I told you this morning shane, if you want 4.10's in your truck your going to have to run with hoosier slicks cause your gearing will be to high and you'll shift into 4th gear with the E.T. streets.

Trust me and hold of on the gear for now until you know where and what you want to do with you truck. You might not even need a gear swap if your truck gets sick fast.

Shane: Save yourself some keying and put your mods in your signature(see mine--at the bottom of the post).

I would stay away from 4.10s. 3.73s would be better all-around.
