PCM documentation

Is there any documentation freely available on the PCM in the L? I would assume there is something as there are quite a few chip manufacturers, all of which got their info from somewhere, unless of course they reversed engineered it? I have a possible project in mind, and this information is kind of important.

Thanks

A lot of it is reverse engineering. There are a couple books that theorize on ODB2 and ECU's in general, but no real detail. If you find one, let me know.

All of them are reverse engineered and 'some' of them reverese engineered a demo program from autologic nice eh?

Ford has an EEC manual with reguards to the opereation of the EEC, but nothing related to memory addresses (as these change on every computer)

any chance the demo program is available to the public? I am trying to find autologic's web site, but with no luck.

If not, then it looks like it would be time to find a spare CUX2 to play with.
Where do the tuners get the hardware/software to burn the chips?

Bye the way, if this works out, I plan on giving "it" out for free, you know "opensource", so by helping me you are potentially helping yourself
