Thumbs up Summer is officially over

Just checked the temperature outside and it's a bone chilling 70 degrees! Humidity is FINALLY under 90%... The Lightning is polished and full of 93 octane...Watch out South-Florida asphalt in the a.m.

Not a Flake Yet!

Haven't seen any snow yet, unusual, but its been raining the last month like we live in the rain forest. Supposed to clear up and stay that way for awhile. Out comes the Lightning.

Unfortunatly, it's my one and only vehicle at the momement, so rain or shine I got to use it. I'm so not looking foward to dealing with the snow in it's upcoming 1st winter. It's got to be better than the Cobra was last year

True...

WTF is up with South Florida. It dropped into the low 70's today. I know that's nothing for you snowboys up North. But it's been so nice and HOT and today it just like FROZE over. I actually wore a jacket...DURING THE DAY! My truck temp read 73 degrees this morning. With wind chill that can be cold.

hahaha, you southern boys. try waking up and having to scrape the iced over dew off your truck everymorning, it sucks.

Rob, I know your pain, I have to drive my L everyday too, and I have to fill it up just about as often. Not sure that I am looking forward to the snow this year, i have a hard enough problem with traction in good weather ....

Yeeeehawwwwwwwww! 40*F this morning as I left for work at 7am. Filled up with 93 Texaco and will be driving over to Jackson, South Carolina tomorrow morning to meet up with Cornercarver, DL, Rusty(?), and other L owners as we joust with the Cobras and Mustang's at South Carolina Dragway's 1/4 mile track. If I guessed correctly, I'll have 3/8s of a tank left and be ready to rock-n-roll !

i went to belletire yesterday to get my truck all aligned and ready for the snow tires and they were all checking out the truck, and they kept wispering to each other, "lightning, lightning quick" (kinda making fun of it or something) but anyway who cares, and before i left the guy yelled at me, "hey have fun in the winter with that thing", and my answer was, "oh dont worry i plan to"

Bill: 475 takes you around Macon. Warner Robins is South of there at the 146 mile post. Glad I could help.
