The box itself is sweet. The fit is perfect and it looks factory. The MTX 6000 subs that it comes loaded with are nothing special. If I did it again,I would get the box unloaded and put JL or equivelent subs.
As far as the changer. You will have to move it.Most guys put it under the middle seat.I have the expy console so mine is in there.

The box as said before looks good. However, the box is made from plastic so there is quite a bit of resonance. I thought it was just my truck vibrating but even after dyna matting the whole cab it was still there. The box itself is just buzzy. The stock MTX speakers aren't that good so if you do get the box I would recommend at least to get it unloaded and put in your choice of speaker. Some have replaced them with JL 10W3's and been real happy. I have researched that this past week to find that JL has just upgraded the 10W3 (to the V2 series I think), the voice coil and basket is deeper and will not fit in the box and the old style are hard to find new. The best sound I have been told is going to be with a custom box made from MDF and fiberglass so there isn't the resonance problem.
not worth the money at all,,, you are talking a plasitc box,, not even correct airspace,, you could have a custom box made for you for mearly $250, I see no point whatever to buying the mtx box for our trucks, you paid 32K for your truck, treat her nice, only the best and you will be happy.

i think the box is fine, and the MTX are fine speakers, sure there not the best out there, but there better than alot out there. Plus the box is plastic so you get alot of vibration, so why would you get better speakers to make it vibrate more?
friends of mine took MTX 4000's (not as good as 6000's) and hooked up to a 250w rms Bazooka Mono Amp, and that stuff, blew the roof off, it pounded.
my GF has the MTX 4000's 12's and they sound good, doesn't pic of voice that well but there 12's and not as good as the 6000's.
so i don't know why everyone thinks the 6000's arnt good, i think they are pretty damn good for what they are.

Guys, MTX has been building enclosures for atleast 11 years. Their enclosures sound really good. I've got one stuffed under my super-cab rear seat with 2 JL 8s. Driving them is a MTX4250D mono sub amp. I was concerned about the weird shape of the enclosure but it makes SPL of 121DBs.
