I haven't used anything but F1s and it's set about 2-3 fingers from the housing. I've used it at the track and street. It doesn't even squat much. It just goes. No bouncing or anything wierd. And I don't floor it off the line. Tires will go up still. I hold it at about 1-1100 rpm and the let the brake go and give it a about 1/4 pedal then floor it. I also use spring clamps.
