I have roush suspension on my 2001 and I have the JDM traction bars. They work fine. I gave away my old cal tracs they probably would have worked just as well. The front mounts of the JDM bars will hit on entering some driveways and some speed bumps if you take them too fast.

What easterisland said is so true, I completely forgot to slow down on this speed bump today, it was one of those foot wide semi tall ones, and the truck came down with a loud crunch, took a look at the bars after, no problem just a little bruised on the ego, and some fragments of speedbump on the brackets. Brackets looked fine, hopefully I didnt bend them while bouncing the L on that bump

Jay's Truck Traks only 'work' when you launch HARD! Otherwise, you won't even know they're on the truck. The traction bars are attached at both ends and therefore, effect other things besides launching. Email Jay Lincoln for the straight skinny.

HIHOAG, 1" is a little tight for a truck that sees rough road duty, like mine. It really won't hurt anything, but it may make the ride a little bouncy.

Do you have the 2 1/2" tall or the 2" tall snubbers? If you have the tall snubbers, I can provide a 1/2" shorter snubber,

You can always cut down the snubber for your ride preference.

How did you figure out that I had been at Haldeman. I think you must be stalking me...first you knew I was at Velocity, lucky guess since I'm always there. And now you know I was at Haldeman. He really cracked me up. Actually recommending nitrous over the use of a crank pulley. And telling me that the new Cobras are slow and have garbage trannys...

Whatever, he claims to be mod friendly so I guess for the time being I will continue to go there with any issues I have.

Haha, just figured, since they're the ONLY SVT dealer in our immediate friggin area... And, as for mod friendly, I don't have to worry much - my bro-in-law is a tech there. He doesn't talk out of his a$$, though - doesn't care enough. His name is Vinny.

So, I guess you went to Velocity after talking to the guy at Haldeman, to check the price on that NO2 kit?

I am familiar with someone who works there...he is about my age, low-mid 20s, with a GT. Paint job and the works, pretty cool, he actually said he was the one who performed my service. But I went to Velocity to check on my QTPs and Weld Wheels that are currently on order, to use with my Truk-Tracks
