Question Insurance Adjusters and Modifications ??

Does anyone have any experience with these
guys? Should I be running down there and
taking all my stuff off BEFORE they look at it?

Don't I have to take the check BEFORE they
own the Lightning?

As with everything else in the world, TIMING is
everything.

Part of me wants to FIX it cause then the mods
could just stay on, and the other part says maybe
it's better totaled.

The guys at the body shop told me that if there
isn't major damage to the body parts, they prolly
WON'T total it.

Please let me know your experiences. I haven't
ever wrecked a car before..... 40 years of safe
driving, and now this !!!

TIA ...

That depends if you are trying to be reimbursed for those aftermarket modifications. If you are only looking to get what your truck is worth, and not claiming those things, you can do whatever you want with them as long as you replace the aftermarket mods with the stock pieces (ie. MAF,rims, air filter etc)

if u plan to buy another one ,id take all
the mods off,if u leave them and give the ins co
reciepts there gonna depreciate everything.
when my vette got totaled it had 5 month old 1500 boyds
wheels on it and all they gave me was 600 extra
didnt pay to take them off since 2 were bent.
