I JUST DON' T KNOW ANYMORE GUYS
Rob and/or Cliff and/or Captain
I know all you guys care for a complete stranger, right now it is almost 1:00 am I go to the hospital every 8 hours since I' ve been out, I' am sitting here typeing to you with a percaset in me (1 percaset=4 Tylenol4),There is just no quality to life here. However there is alot to look foward to, Christmas is comeing, I glad to be alive and happy to see my little Dog, Winter will pass and March 30 will be here and I will find happieness again. I think this little depression moods are caused by the fact I' am now a parapalegic and the stress of the company I worked so hard to build is now being contemplated on selling it. Really it is depressing I started Titan rock bits in 2000 it is now late 2002 I have 14 employees a comerical bay a fleet of 10 supercab F-350 XLT extended cabs 6 of them trucks are stationed throught different locations of Alberta, I love the business, But what can I do ? I can' t even pick up my little Sheltie let alone a 50 Lb drill bit. On the other hand, I will beable to retire with no worries about money ever between the insurnce settlement and the sale of Titan. Maybe there is hope toliveing life to the fullest.

Hey Bluelightning,
Sounds like you're in a tough spot right now. Wish you the best and hope you see it through. It sounds like you've enjoyed big success already in life. Some of the elements in your life that contributed to your success are changed, some are not. You are still here and you will have more opportunity to use the gifts you have. Hang in there!

BlueLighting,
I am very sorry about your accident. Accidents, illness, etc. all put life into perspective. You ask the questions, why me?, why are we here?, etc., etc. It's hard to take advice from people who haven't and who aren't going through the same issues.
I wish you the best and hope you find a strong relationship with the Lord through all of this, if you haven't already.
Good luck w/ the new truck and keep us up to date w/ how you are doing. This board is full of supportive friends who want to do what we can to help you through these trying times.

Pat ... Quit that !!! Some accidents are just that ... ACCIDENTS!
The people that love you and care for you will continue to
do so, no matter what happens to you. I have seen many
instances of that, and believe me, it is a great asset to have
family and friends that love you. The very idea that you are
being "picked" out to be "punished" is abhorrant to my philosophy.
God loves us all equally. It is up to us to make that relationship
count. I believe that what happened to us all happened for
a reason, but we just don't know what it is yet. The people
that I met going through this have been the BEST that I have
met in along time. I'm sure you noticed this also.
Please continue to be upbeat. After all, WE all love ya!!!

Let me ask you Pat, is the ability to lift the drill bits
(Yes I know what you do ... I work in hard rock iron mines
for many years!) what made your company? I don't think
so. It was your mind and your organisational skills. And
have those changed? Nope ... Last time I checked, that's
still you ... See?
And for a laugh, remember ... If Larry Flynt can be successful
from a wheelchair, surely just about anyone can !!!
Peace bro ...
