When you change your pulley you need to change the plugs also because the stock plugs will be to hot with the extra boost your running and can cause detonation. I have a 4# pulley on my truck and im using Denso IT20 plugs gaped at .40 with no problems. Ive been running this set up for 7000 miles.

WOW go get some colder plugs ASAP. how long have you been running that setup w/ those stock plugs? hope it doesnt get real cold where you live.

not trying to scare you but it is HIGHLY recommended that you get a set of colder plugs. i use IT20s gapped at .038 and some prefer the IT22s. they both work great for that 4#er...

also, you might want to get your chip reburned if you live in severely cold weather....richen it up a tad and along w/ those colder plugs hopefully you wont see detonation anymore.

Good plugs & good gas = No pinging, longer motor life

Stock plugs and anything other than stock boost = BOOM
