New Best Track Times!!!

Went to SDR last night and made 4 runs. The temp was in the 50s.

Here's my best:
60' 2.114
330' 5.753
1/8 8.721
MPH 82.55
1000 11.304
1/4 13.489
MPH 103.47

Needless to say I am very pleased. I wish I could figure out how to get my 60' times down to at least 2.0. With a 2.0 I would have probably run a 13.3xx. Imagine what it will do when I get a chip!

I was also surprised to see my MPH as high as they were. I guess the MagnaFlow and FTVB must actually help a little.

Are you taken the F-1's air pressure down to @26 LBS ?
Thats where "I always put mine at the track" and have gotten
(5) 1.9 , (1) 1.8, and (1) 2.0 60ft times out of them. On my last run, the 12.8 I put them suckers down even less, suckers almost looked flat, but I got my best ET yet, so I may try going down to even 22 next time out ???

For having no chip (+ Pulleys too I assume) YOUR SMOKING.

Great times.

My 60' times started going up when I got them below 26psi. (new w/only 2,700 miles on them)
It seemed to launch the best when at 28psi.

Thanks guys! Actually I did drop the rear tires from 32 to 26 PSI but it was after my 13.4 run. My best 60' was the 2.11 but I have a feeling that I could have launched harder after lowering the pressure. I only made 1 run with the lower pressure, so I did not really get a chance to experiment. We'll try again in a couple of weeks!

Dan: when do you plan on doing some racin'?
