Thumbs up

From your sig does'nt look like your pushing more than stock boost?

So, I'd say cutting a good light and a good 60' will be your advantage points.

Chuck the spare and tail gate. Pull the front swaybar, if you have time to?

Assuming it's a stock 6/speed 00 vette and they are somewhat decent at launching & shifts?
Your gonna need every everything you got.

It's all in that launch and 60'

WOT

BTW: Report back on the outcome. Or better yet get a vid! I'd love to see a really close run like this!

I think I would find someone that would loan me a chip. If you should get a lead don't try to run it out to 120mph because the vette will close fast if it is behind you.

Drop the spare and the trailer hitch assembly (8 bolts). That's a good 130lbs there.

Cut a good light and hope they don't powershift.

I agree, with no chip drop as much weight as you can (Hitch, Jack, spare...) My stock '01 convert. (Auto) ran a 13.20 @ 102 mph in the heat

A 2000 6sp Vette, with no mods is good for a low 13 or high 12 depending on his/her driving, if you can't get parts quick do what everyone else says, "lose weight" Fastest Hp there is!!
Is this going to be a 1/4 mile run or full out, if its full out, see ya the vette is going to pass you on the top end like you were standing still

BTW Good luck and if the Driver is any Driver He/She will be showing you the taillights!!!!

aaaaaaah..Let the air out of the vettes tires.
THey are very fast and I have watched a few of them in the 11 sec range. I guess if you get them off the line it will be a close race.. From the ones I have seen run ..there really fast mid to upper range.
Good luck.
