Whoa Spike! Any pictures? I kinda get what you are saying but would like to see a pic of the installed version. Also what Dan said.

Dan - looks like were going to have mini mod party

Also, I believe there is a difference b/n the shocks that Ruslow sells and the ones that JDM sells. The shocks I recieved from Ruslow were just the QA1 shocks and their own mounting hardware. JDM machines new top bolts for them so that the bushings and bolts from stock shocks can still be used (or at least on the ones I saw at his shop). But it doesn't look like that is the case in Kuan's 1 picture.

Kuan - if possible can you post a picture of all the shocks/hardware.

I'm up for that.

I remember Jim telling me that they make their shock pieces longer to fit easier...

Mine where ordered for a 2" drop, so they were shorter.

Here's an installed photo another member did:

There are several ways to do it. You can buy the hiem joints from QA1, or for that matter, any supplier that makes them. Any shop that installs air bags probably has extra hardware that you can use to bolt to the L and will fit the hiem joint. The only mod you have to do is drill an additional hole to prevent the mount from rotating. The prices of the parts vary. If you do it yourself, it's cheap. If you buy them premade (Ruslow for instance), they're more expensive because there's no profit in making and selling them, thus the added cost.

He does, but with reluctance. Like I mentioned earlier, there isn't enough financial incentive for him to bother. But, if you catch him at the right time, he'd probably make a set.

Kuan -

Those are beautiful. I need to go ahead and bite the bullet; perhaps this weekend if I get the chance to meet Ruslow at Heartland Park.
