Lowering my '02 Lightning

I'm interested in lowering the Lightning and would like some suggestions, opinions and advise. I prefer to maintain the stock stance (I like the rack) but a little lower. The Motorsport lowering kit is my current choice as it lowers both the front and back 1 1/4 inches, I'm not interested in the slamed look. Appreciate your response.

This is the Bell Tech 2" front, 3" rear. Is it slammed? Rides nice too.

Here is mine
Lowered a inch in the front and 2 in the rear.

I have Hotchkis front springs, I don't know if I would recomend them to most people, as they are quite stiff, and I have 2 inch shackles on the rear.

BellTech drop

Mine is BellTech 3/4 drop with stock Bilstein shocks. After 11000km Ford found out that my front shock is leaking because of the lowering spring....
I dont know its true or not..but I ordered the QA1 shocks from JDM...Hope it will help the ride quality.

I dont feel mine is 3/4 droped...look like 2/2 to me...oh well..

After making a few mistakes, I prefer to call it "experimenting" and then some phone calls to correct those mistakes this is what I've learned. I don't think some people know the actual spring rates of stock vs. some aftermarket I sure didn't.

Front: Rear:

Stock: 650 ~160-180
Hotchkis: 960 300
Bell Tech. (3" coils): 1000
Ruslow: whatever you want 600-1600
Eibach: variable (crap, sag way to much, I learned)

Those are a few........

Good Suspension Info

Another place to look is NLOC, they have a few suspension type forums and some guys that really know their stuff.

My drop: 2/3 (Belltech 3" Coils, 2" Hotchkis Leaf, 1" drop shackle, Hotchkis sways, corrected endlinks, next I need a panard bar)
